*PRESENTATION GRADE ITHACA MODEL 49 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal 22. SN 9. Rare and unusual little rifle made to look like a lever action repeater with false magazine tube. The lever opens a falling block single shot action. This little rifle has 17-1/2” rnd bbl with adjustable rear sight, flat side receiver and extraordinary center crotch cut exhibition grade stock and forearm. It has gold plated trigger and hammer. Receiver and lever are nicely hand engraved with foliate arabesque patterns and the left side of the receiver is engraved in tiny letters “CUSTOM MADE BY ITHACA” and the bottom of receiver is engraved “SERIAL # 9”. Left side of receiver also has the engravers initials “WMG”. Buttstock has a small gold oval initial plate. Accompanied by its original 2-pc cardboard box with label. CONDITION: As new, appears to be unfired retaining virtually all of its original factory finish to both metal and wood. Box is fine with one split corner. 4-50268 JR392 (1,000-2,000)
