*1903 SPRINGFIELD NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE. Cal 30-06. SN 1269196. 24” bbl dated “July 1925”. Metal to this rifle is 96-98% condition showing virtually no wear of any kind. Bbl is star gauged. Rifle has 2800 yard sight. Mechanically fine. CONDITION: Metal is nearly new on this gun. Has a correct transitional 03/03A1 sight knob with smooth trigger and checkered buttplate. Bolt is blued and SN to gun (electric pencil). Wood is finger grooved “S” stock and in excellent condition showing very minor use and is “D.A.L.” inspected. A fine example of an earlier star gauged ‘03. 4-57785 BK14 (1,800-2,500)
