NEW ENGLAND WILLIAM & MARY PAINT DECORATED LIFT TOP BLANKET CHEST. Cotter pin hinge top has applied molded edge with original lock, key not present. Two side by side faux drawers over one long faux drawer over two long drawers. Each fitted with appropriate cotter pin drop handles. Pine construction all resting on turned shaped feet. The newer paint decoration is black trees painted over a red background. The feet, which may be replacements, are painted black. Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
