FOUR DECORATED WORCESTER TABLEWARES. Late 18th/early 19th century. Comprising a teapot and covered sugar, floral decorated in underglaze blue, each with matching floral knop. Each marked with a solid blue crescent. A bowl with scalloped edge decorated overall with floral sprays and butterflies in underglaze blue, unmarked. A bowl polychrome decorated in the Imari pallette marked beneath with a solid blue crescent. Ex Ruth Troiani. SIZE: Teapot 8 1/2″H; Sugarbowl 4 1/2″; Diameters of bowls 6″. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good overall. No imperfections or restorations noted. 9-23273 (800-1,200)
