*ANGELO BEE ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 03 DELUXE RIFLE. Cal. 22 Auto. Exquisite deluxe rifle that has been spectacularly engraved by master engraver Angelo Bee and is signed on the left side of the receiver. Game scene panels on both sides, French gray background, with the left being 2 gold rising woodcock with a platinum and gold spaniel in a woodland scene. Right side is another woodland scene of a large platinum and gold fox with 2 flushing gold partridge that have platinum edged tail feathers. Top of the receiver has very large platinum and gold bald eagle with a platinum and gold partridge in its talons. Floor plate, in front of the trigger, has a finely detail lynx head. All the engraving is in great detail. All the scenes are surrounded by fine foliate arabesque patterns with gold wire borders and gold lines around the front edge of the receiver, top tang, back end of the bbl and muzzle. The serial number, in two places, the proof marks and Winchester on the bbl are inlaid in gold. Wood is beautiful burled deluxe walnut with checkered pistol grip and forearm. The smooth steel crescent buttplate is also lightly engraved. The bolt is jeweled and the trigger gold plated. SN93129.
