*DELUXE EARLY BRNO MANNLICHER STYLE SPORTING RIFLE. Cal 7mm Mauser. SN 3728. Fine deluxe rifle built during Nazi occupation with a 21” tapered rnd bbl, ramp front sight, two leaf express rear sight and factory claw mounts with a Dialytan 4x scope. It is mounted in a nicely figured full length walnut stock with metal forend tip and checkered pistol grip butt with heavy European style Monte Carlo cheek piece 14-1/8” over a smooth horn buttplate. The stock has light incised carving around the checkering on the wrist, cheek piece and buttplate. The left side of the bbl and receiver both bear the date “43”. The left side of the receiver is marked “WAFFENWERKE BRUNN/AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT”. The action is a sporting commercial model with knurled receiver ring and the “CZ” logo with dbl set triggers. It has the trademark Brno bolt shroud and spoonhandle bolt. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All the metal retains 94-96% strong original blue with some mild wear on the bolt body and rails. Stock with minor handling and storage marks retains most of its original fine oil finish. TScope retains about 95% original blue with clear optics. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-50515 JR161 (800-1,500)
