*RARE DWM 1900 SWISS E SERIES WIDE TRIGGER LUGER. SN E720. Cal. 30 Luger. Extremely rare Swiss Luger with 4-3/4″ bbl, DWM scroll on front toggle link, Geneva cross & sunburst above chamber with “E” prefix three-digit serial number. It has Swiss proofs on bbl & receiver & a large “P” on left side of receiver. Fitted with grip safety & dished toggles & an orig Swiss wood base magazine with steel disk insert. It has the proper Swiss ordnance extractor and is accompanied by an extremely rare orig muzzle cover & sight hood marked “DEPOSE FW O.P.” on top. “E” series Lugers are extremely rare and this one is in exceptionally nice condition with the rare muzzle cover. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching including grips except trigger which is numbered “27”. Overall retains about 96-97% strong orig blue with only slight muzzle edge wear, slight thinning to right frame rail & at front edges of rails & more slight thinning on sideplate. Front strap has a couple of finger lines with backstrap & safety strong. Overall retains about 85-87% strong orig straw colors. Grips show light wear with a few scattered chipped diamonds with attractive grain & color showing through. Magazine is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore.
