*SPRINGFIELD 1903 A1 NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 1232429. 24” bbl dated “3-29” star gauged. 1929 era 03A1 National Match with C stock in very nice condition. Bolt is polished & numbered to gun, has correct sights with front sight having cover. CONDITION: Receiver retains 98% orig phosphate finish with no significant markings. Bbl retains 98-99% orig finish with a bright shiny bore. Sights are correct for this gun with what appear to be the earlier dished type sight knobs which were commonly used. Front bbl band has 98% finish with proper “H” on bottom of lug. Middle band has 90% of finish & is of the grooved type. Trigger guard & floorplate assembly shows to be 98% with no scratches dings or mars in it. Buttstock is “DAL” cartouched with minor handling marks & dings throughout but very pleasing to look at. Hand guard appears to be a correct replacement as finish is not quite identical to stock. Buttplate assembly is correct checkered type with 95% orig finish to it. 4-57799 BK34 (2,500-4,000)
