ENGRAVED “L.H. MOORE” REMINGTON/ELLIOTT FOUR BARRELL PISTOL. Cal. 32 RF. SN 19003. Blued finish, 3-3/8” ribbed bbl with good markings, blade front sight, ring trigger, & 2-pc smooth rosewood grips. Bottom of grip strap is engraved in script “L H Moore / 558 Broadway, N. Y.” Accompanied by consignor’s research file with information showing that derringer belonged to Luther H. Moore, a jeweler in the late 1800’s in New York. CONDITION: Good. Traces of blue in protected places, mostly gray patina. Grips show wear at the high spots & retain most of their varnish. Moderately pitted bore. Mechanically needs adjustment. 4-59451 JH85 (750-1,000)
