*CASED ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON PRE-MODEL 27 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 357 Mag. SN S124632. Blued finish, 4-screw frame with 8-3/8″ ribbed bbl, red ramp front sight, adjustable white outline rear sight. It has target hammer & standard trigger with smooth silver medallion Goncalvo Alves magnum grips. It has about Class 2 engraving consisting of flowing foliate arabesque patterns on the frame, sides of the bbl, bottom of the trigger guard and top of the back strap. The cylinder has matching patterns between each flute, all with fine stippled background. Accompanied by a Smith & Wesson blue-flocked Styrofoam lined mahogany casing with screwdriver, mop, cleaning rod & brush. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Appears to be unfired with only a faint cylinder line, otherwise retains virtually all of its strong bright blue finish. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore.
