EARL EDWARD SANBORN (American, 1890-1936) “TENANTS HARBOR GREY DAY”. Fine oil on board Maine coastal scene shows a calm harbor with lone sailboat, light blue water and small village on the far bank. All is seen under a light blue sky. Original label on reverse with title and signature. Signed lower left “E E Sanborn”. Housed in a fine carved and gilt frame with wide carved liner having gilt wood title and artist plaque. SIZE: 12″ x 14-1/2″.
