*WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SMOOTH BORE RIFLE. Cal.22LR shot. Standard rifle with 24” round bbl, bead front sight marked on left side “FOR SHOT ONLY”, 3/4 magazine with round top receiver, ribbed flat bottom forearm, uncheckered stock with pistol grip and checkered steel buttplate. Bore at the muzzle measures about 1/4”. SN 212394. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine tube retain 93-95% original blue, slightly thinned over the chamber area and on the magazine tube just in front of receiver. Receiver retains 93-94% strong original blue with some scattered light surface rust and a small scratch or two. Wood is sound and buttstock retains about 95% original varnish. Forearm about 75%.
