LOBMEYR LUNCHEON SET. Extraordinary Lobmeyr luncheon set consists of twelve 8″ plates, thirteen 7″ plates, seven finger bowls, three sherbets, eight cups and saucers with one additional cup and one 8-1/2″ tall vase. Each piece is blown in clear glass shading to red and is decorated with an enameled stylized floral decoration with gold gilt detail. Each piece is signed in the middle with the Lobmeyr monogram and the set is accompanied by a letter from Mr. Harald C. Rath of the J & L Lobmeyr Factory indicating that these pieces are authentic Lobmeyr and were made between 1885 and 1900. The letter also discusses the manufacturing techniques used in these beautiful Art Nouveau design pieces. SIZE: As noted.
