WINDUP BLACK DANCER. Probably Ives. 19th century black figure with embossed brass hand painted face dances about while ringing solid brass bells. Dancer wears long-tailed red jacket and hood. Finger jointed, mahogany base contains long running true clockwork mechanism. SIZE: Figure: 7″ tall, overall toy is 10 1/2″ tall. CONDITION: Wooden box and mechanism are near excellent.
