PHILIP LITTLE (American, 1857-1942) “THE SHEEPSCOT RIVER, MAINE, GREEN ISLAND LOOKING TO THE NORTH”. Oil on canvas Maine coastal scene shows a sailboat sailing against a stiff breeze heading around a small island. Signed lower left. Housed in a modern carved wood frame which is painted and having a silvered inside edge and having a gilt wood artist plaque.
