CUT GLASS & STERLING TANKARD. Exceptional cut glass tankard has cylindrical body cut in a cane pattern and mounted with sterling silver collar, handle, spout and lid. A center oval cartouche is engraved “William Shaw From His Friend J.F. Ehrenbaeher 1883”. The figural spout depicts Old Northwind and the collar and lid are decorated with chased and repose design. Silver lid is hallmarked “OB” within an oval, a standing lion within a shield and an “H” within a shield. SIZE: 12″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69457 (700-1,000)
