26” TETE JUMEAU. Doll is incised “12,” stamped in red “TETE JUMEAU.” On original fully jointed body, unmarked. Lovely earlier version of open mouth Jumeau, circa 1892, with huge blue paperweight eyes, appropriately dressed in salmon colored silk jacket over a dress made of pleated pink taffeta and a bodice of ecru lace. Wearing pink leather children’s shoes and replacement auburn human hair wig. CONDITION: Head very good, body finish original, with some paint wear to fingers and joints at knees.
