RARE SCHOENHUT TEDDY ROOSEVELT SAFARI GLASS EYED HYENA. A particularly fine example and it appears to have no touch-up and/or repairs. Perhaps one of the most difficult of all the Schoenhut animals to find, especially in this condition. Often the glass eyed hyena is found in the hand painted version and not the airbrushed version, such as this model. Typical of any company of the time, they would mix and match and produce whatever was needed or ordered by the distributor, toy store or customer. SIZE: Approx. 6-3/4″ l.
