DEXTER SMITH SINGLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Rotating block with side lever and 30” bbl with the makers name, address and patent dates on top. Uncheckered wood with a splinter forearm and straight stock with smooth steel buttplate. SN 1188. CONDITION: Fair to good. Mostly a plummy-brown patina with light to moderate pitting over the forearm area, brighter blue toward the muzzle. Wood is sound, missing a small splinter by the upper tang and retaining most of an old refinish. Bore is bright and shiny with some scattered deep pitting. 4-48338 JR442 (Anderson Collection) (400-700)
