FINE CARVED IVORY CAT HEAD CANE. Nicely carved elephant ivory handle carved with a cat head having green glass eyes and carved fur. A sterling collar with London hallmarks which are worn and makers mark “HT”. Circa 1890’s. Shaft is ebonized mahogany with a 1” worn brass ferrule. SIZE: 35-1/2” l. Handle is 1-1/2” h x 1-3/4” dia. CONDITION: Carving is very good, shaft has some minor wear. 9-28188 (1400-1800)
