*WELDON BLEDSOE ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 25-2 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP. SN N67334. Nickel finish, 6-1/2″ bbl, patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, target trigger & hammer with beautiful smooth pearl grips. It is very nicely engraved with intertwined foliate arabesque patterns with punch dot background having about 85% coverage on the frame, bbl & cylinder. The engraving is signed with Bledsoe’s tiny “WB” brand on the right side of the frame just below the S&W trademark. This revolver was engraved specifically for Bob Spradling of the Ft. Worth Pistol Parlor and is one of the few known Bledsoe signed guns. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Has been fired but retains virtually all of its beautiful custom nickel finish with only some powder burn around the forcing cone and inside the crane. Trigger & hammer retain most of their orig bright case colors. Grips with beautiful red & green fire, have a small chip at the top left side and are a little long.
