CHICKERING & SONS, BOSTON, ROSEWOOD GRAND PIANO. SERIAL #17552. Third quarter 19th century. The concert grand piano labeled and stamped; of typical form, having 85 keys, raised on cylindrical, tapered, and fluted legs on conforming ring-and-disc feet, the foot pedals mounted on a scrolled lyre-form support. Now fitted with a compact disc player system “QRS PIANOMATION”. This instrument is fully operational as a player piano or as a manual piano. SIZE: 83″ l. x 58″ w. x 38-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: The case is fully restored, as is the sound board, and professionally refinished. The keyboard needs adjustment for complete manual play and is fully operational in the player-piano mode. In very good condition overall, with excellent sound reproduction. 9-93367 (20,000-40,000)
