ANGLO IRISH CUT GLASS COMPOTE. Very heavy leaded glass compote cut in various diamond and fan patterns. Typical of the Anglo Irish form, popular Circa 1820-1850. Base is cut with a square crosshatch design. Knop is faceted. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t x 11-1/2″ across. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones.
