CORNELIUS & CO. SOLAR LAMPS. Pair of solar lamps have brass stepped base with a ruffled and ribbed floral shaped stem supporting a white opalescent shaft with applied light blue ribbing. The lamps are finished with a solar lamp font with applied brass tag “Cornelius & Co. Philad. July 24th. 1849 Patent April 1st. 1845”. Each of the lamps is completed with a frosted cut to clear reproduction shade. SIZE: 31″ t. CONDITION: Very good. Lamps have been electrified and drilled and have loss to gilding on base. 9-90118 (1,500-2,500)
