CLAMBROTH COMPOTE. Circa 1850. Possibly American. Multiple loop design on lower half of bowl, the upper half is done in a stylized leaf form. Hexagon shaped base is attached to bowl with a wafer. SIZE: 10-3/4″ t x 10-3/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good with minor roughness on the foot. 5-61762 (500-700)
