*1903 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE. Cal 30-06. SN 633006. 24” bbl. This is an unmolested example of a 1916 NRA sales gun lots of condition. Mechanically fine. CONDITION: Receiver has 95% very pleasing case colors, bbl has nearly all of the finish with some slight blue loss on sides from front sight cover which is no longer present. Front band has proper “H” on bayonet lug. Wood is in very fine condition with minimal scarring and very sharp edges. “D.A.L.” inspection stamp and circle “P” proof marks are very prominent. Checkered buttplate has nearly all of finish. Floorplate has minimal blue loss. This is a very fine example of a 1916 NRA sales gun. 4-57819 BK9 (3,500-4,500)
