MILLS “ELECTRICITY IS LIFE” SHOCK MACHINE. An outstanding shock machine that will blow your socks off (figuratively and literally). Encased in an oak cabinet with electroplated cast iron trims, reverse painted on glass internal marquee(replaced), a huge papier mache face plate and an elaborate cast iron plate with a rheostat attached make this a most impressive arcade machine. Massive, almost elephantine in size this device dwarfs most other floor model shock machines. One would deposit a coin in the slot and then grip the handles, slowly shifting the one handle towards the side thus increasing the electric shock one would receive. Of course, if you read the instructions this electric shock treatment you receive is good for such ailments as neurological, mental, blood issues etc. Perhaps today’s version of this machine would be curing depression from investments in the stock market. This machine had been tucked away in a private collection for approximately 30 years and would certainly be a fine as well as seldom found arcade machine that would enhance one’s arcade collection.
