COLT MODEL 1894 NEW ARMY & NAVY DA REVOLVER.

COLT MODEL 1894 NEW ARMY & NAVY DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. SN 60824. Blue finish with 6” bbl, integral half moon front sight and 2-pc walnut grips with legible cartouche on each side and date “1894”. It has the usual Army buttstrap markings with a lanyard loop through the model number. It has “RAC” inspector initials on the various parts. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Overall retains 70-75% thin, orig blue, stronger in sheltered areas with the loss areas a blue/gray patina. Trigger and edge of hammer retain most of their bright niter blue with bright sides on hammer. Left grip has a chipped toe and a sliver missing showing normal use & handling and retains traces of orig varnish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. This is a little used but poorly stored revolver. 4-60710 JR120 (750-1,250)
