*COLT MODEL 1909 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. SN 46603. Blue finish with 5-1/2” bbl. “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on bottom of bbl and fitted with matching numbered 2-pc smooth, walnut grips. Lanyard stud hole in bottom of grip is plugged. It has “RAC” inspector marks on bottom edge of each grip. Inside right grip is crudely carved “HADDON”. It has the “RAC” inspector initials at top right rear of frame, bottom of bbl & back of cyl. CONDITION: Fine. Overall retains about 85% orig blue, slightly thinned on bbl, with muzzle & sharp edge wear. Backstrap is a blue/brown patina and triggerguard is turning plum. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore with a few scattered spots of light pitting. 4-60709 JR119 (1,250-1,750)
