CLOCKWORK “SAY IT WITH FLOWERS” MOTORCYCLE. The crown jewel of any cast iron motorcycle or automotive toy collection. A fabulous toy by itself, but then add the clockwork mechanism to further enhance the appeal and rarity of this toy. Only a handful of cast iron toys were ever produced with clockwork mechanisms. Believed to be one of only 2 or 3 known existing clockwork examples, this toy is in remarkable, untouched, uncleaned, as found condition. A very light soiling to enameled blue could be easily cleaned to bring the toy back to its vibrant original luster and beauty. The motorcycle is enameled in robin’s egg blue with gilt trims and a lacquered black roof. Black rubber tires (some distressing), polished aluminum handlebars and a nickel plated engine head increase the desirability of this toy. Decals depicting the Indian logo on fuel tank and flowered decals adorning body of delivery van. Just another example of Larry’s quest for the best in automotive toys! SIZE: 10″ l.
