PINK & WHITE CASED GLASS LAMP. Font is generally pink cut through white down to clear, the midsection of the font is decorated with a gilted Greek Key design. Stem of lamp is solid brass with a female and leaf design. Marble base is engraved “Jenny Lind”. Jenny Lind was a famous Swedish singer who toured America in the 1850s and became the most female singer in mid-19th Century America. See Barlow & Kaiser Vol. 2, pg. 205 for similar example. SIZE: 14-1/4″ t x 4-1/2″ wide at base. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good with wear to Greek Key gilding, but no significant damage. 5-61755 (600-900)
