FINE LEADED AND STAINED GLASS FIRE SCREEN. The ornate brass frame with stylized claw feet holds a rectangular vertical panel of leaded and stained glass. The central oval with an image of a young woman holding flowers surrounded by a red circle and decorated fleur di lis border with blue half circles. Berries and flowers are painted in the corners and the whole panel bordered in colorful leaded jewels. Handle to top frame. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: 33” h x 20” w. CONDITION: Very good. A few small cracks in edge pieces. 9-28813 (400-600)
