PAIR OF DOLPHIN CANDLESTICKS. Single step base dolphin candlesticks of a wonderful teal blue color are made in two parts with the socket being attached to the dolphin’s tail with a wafer. Bases have been factory polished to sit level. See Barlow & Kaiser Vol. 4, pages 64-69 for reference. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: Stick A, there is a large spall off one petal of socket and several smaller flakes. Base has numerous tiny chips and flakes and one small line at the corner. Stick B has one medium size spall chip on one of the petals of the socket and a flake off the tip of the dolphin’s tail. Base has numerous tiny chips and spall marks. 5-61751 (600-1,000)
