SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 JAPANESE NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. Blue finish, 7” keyhole ribbed bbl, pinned half moon steel front sight, 2-pc smooth walnut grips with lanyard loop in the butt. Bottom of the frame just forward of the trigger guard is marked with the anchor and two wavy lines of the Japanese Navy. SN 5533. CONDITION: Good. Traces of original finish remain in sheltered areas being mostly a medium brown patina with light surface pitting. Cylinder is numbered 9100 and the grips are unnumbered and are slightly undersized, bbl and latch are matching.
