WESLEY ELBRIDGE WEBBER (AMERICAN, 1841 – 1914) ROCKY COAST MAINE. Large oil on canvas scene shows a small sailboat coming aground on a rock-strewn shoreline with worn coastal bank with trees. Other people in boat are just beyond and some sails are seen in distance with low hills beyond. Probably a scene from Down-east Maine. Signed lower right.
