SMITH & WESSON #3 RUSSIAN 3RD MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. Blued finish, 6-1/2” keyhole ribbed bbl, integral front sights, Cyrillic address with Russian proofs on the top rib and “KO” inspector initials. There is another Russian inspector mark and the date 1874 at the left rear of the frame. 2-pc smooth walnut grips and a lanyard loop in the butt. SN 39888. CONDITION: Good. All matching including the grips, except the latch. Frame retains 20-25% thin blue, bbl and cylinder are a gray metal color with some deeper pitting. Some of the screws appear to be replaced, others are battered. Trigger pin and ejector housing pin are replacements. Strong bore with good shine and moderate pitting.
