25¢ CAILLE SUPERIOR SLOT MACHINE. A classic 1930’s machine manufactured by Caille from Detroit, Michigan, these machines were workhorses and seldom encountered mechanical failure. With extremely attractive aluminum castings, they also featured a vertical escalator displaying the last four coins played. Upon hitting 2 cherries, or 2 cherries and a lemon/bell, the last coin played would drop into the jackpot. These Caille machines had a different sound as well as feel when handle was pulled that only Caille machines had! Great machines and truly underrated, this particular example has been fully restored to its original beauty. Machine comes with a finely crafted oak stand with polished aluminum legs and owl adorning front door. SIZE: 15″ x 15″ x 24″. CONDITION: Overall excellent restored condition. 1-8685 JL (1,250-1,500)
