NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL BIRCH PEMBROKE TABLE. First quarter 19th century. The rectangular top with hinged D-form leaves above the conforming apron, raised on square tapered legs. SIZE: Closed: 28-1/2″ h. x 18″ w. x 38″ d. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection. Acquired from Robert Hall, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine in the 1950/60’s by the present owner’s parents. CONDITION: Refinished in a pumpkin brown, with repairs to top along hinge line. Otherwise good. 9-94939 (600-800)
