**NORTH KOREAN AK-47 (C&R). SN 1589L. Cal. 7.62 x 39mm. 16-1/4” bbl. Manufacture in North Korea. Stock also shows evidence of SN and star arsenal marking. Includes magazine and heavy web-type sling. Appears fully functional and operates smoothly when cycled by hand. Passes functions check and magazine fits well in mag well. PROVENANCE: A. William Vallerand Collection. CONDITION: Overall condition and finish is 85% with some light corrosion and pitting along the rail. Proof marks and SN are very strong. Bbl retains approx. 90% finish. Selector is in Korean. Nice, blonde, wood stock with some handling marks and dings, as does the handguard. Pistol grip in good condition. Buttstock and buttplate has evidence of old corrosion, but gun is in good, solid, serviceable condition. Bore is bright and shiny and though has quite a bit of dust in it, it should clean up well. A genuine Korean AK-47, a scarce item that should be of interest to the AK-47 collector as well as someone who would want an AK-47 to shoot. 4-39871 JWK203 (15,000-25,000)
