SMITH & WESSON #3 RUSSIAN MODEL TURKISH CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 44 RF. Second to third model transition with 7” keyhole ribbed bbl, pinned half moon front sight, 2-pc smooth walnut grips and lanyard loop in the butt. Trigger guard has reverse curved spur on the bottom of the trigger guard. Bbl has usual Smith & Wesson markings and there are the numbers “11.35” on the left side of the frame below the cylinder and there is a five point star on the top of the right grip. There is a small “w” inspector mark” by the serial number on the butt. SN 710. CONDITION: Good, all matching including the grips. Cylinder is a re-numbered replacement and the finish overall appears to be oxide sliver. Grips have stressed fractures on the inside. Bore is strong and dark.
