*US SPRINGFIELD 03/MARK 1 RIFLEWITH PEDERSON DEVICE. Cal. 30-06. SN 1165681. 24” bbl dated “Feb. 1920”. This rifle is equipped with the Pedersen device as well as orig bolt and accessories for the Pedersen device SN 40171. Included are metal Pedersen device container, spare parts pouch marked “R.I.A. 1919” containing rifles orig bolt and two takedown wrenches for Pedersen device, one Pedersen device magazine, ammo belt containing ten pouches for standard 30 cal and a WWI canteen as well as five-cell mag punch for Pedersen magazines. Also included is an ammo pouch containing 560 rounds of ammo for the Pedersen device marked “40-CAL. 30 AUTO PISTOL BALL CARTRIDGES MODEL OF 1918” also marked “REMINGTON UMC” in boxes. Also included in this lot is a wooden .30 cal. ammo box. CONDITION: Receiver is black parkerized with 90% finish. Bbl assembly as well as other metal parts is blue in 90% finish. Pedersen device is in fine condition showing some corrosion and minor pitting on the bolt and chamber. Wood is correct for Mark 1 with WJS inspection is in very good condition with the expected handling marks and minor nicks. Mechanically in fine condition. Bore is dark but with very strong rifling. 4-57779 BK13 (30,000-60,000)
