*SMITH & WESSON 38 HAND EJECTOR M&P 1ST MODEL NAVY CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Mil. (38 Colt). Blued finish, 6” bbl, integral front sight, round butt with diamond checkered walnut grips, no medallions. The bottom of the butt has the correct Navy contract markings with Navy serial number 454. Bbl, frame and cylinder are also correctly marked. The backstrap is stamped with rack number “1”. SN 5476. CONDITION: Good, all matching except the grips which are numbered 3553. Retains about 50% thin blue overall with chemical spotting overall and some pitting on the right rear of the frame and sideplate. Grips show moderate with a couple of dings on the right side.
