GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY WAKE TABLE. Circa 1780. The one-board rectangular top with rounded ends fitted with matching hinged demilune leaves projecting above the straight frieze raised on eight square molded legs. The leaves supported by double gatelegs. SIZE: 28″ h. x 21-1/2″ w. x 88″ l. Dimensions open: 53″ x 88″. CONDITION: Professionally repolished, old restoration to swing leg and gate, one hinge repair at top. The table retains a rich clear color, the wood well matched and well figured. 9-92342 (7,000-10,000)
