MAHOGANY KNIFE BOX. Wonderful knife box has curved front with slanted lid and rests atop three ball and claw brass feet. Brass carrying handles adorn each side; while the top is fitted with a brass lift ring and front with ornate locking assembly. Veneered with rich mahogany. SIZE: 14” t x 9-1/2” w x 8” deep. CONDITION: Some missing veneer on back edge of one side, older veneer patch on front and age crack on opposing side. Material on fitted interior is badly deteriorated. 5-71675 (1,000-1,500)
