LOT OF TWO ENGLISH SAW HANDLE TARGET PISTOLS. (1) Fine E.W. Hatley. Cal. 54 Smoothbore. NSN. With 9-1/2″ heavy oct bbl, fixed sights, engraved breechblock & top tang, German silver furniture with captive rammer on a German silver bottom rail with finger rest trigger guard with pointed finial. It has a small butt cap with tiny trap. It is fitted with small curved back action lock with safety and single set trigger. The breech end of the bbl has a wide & narrow silver band inlay. It is mounted in a 1-pc half stock with rnd butt and saw handle protrusion. CONDITION: Good. No orig finish remains being a medium gray/brown patina with light pitting. There is a small crack by the lock screw with four incised lines, otherwise the wood retains a fine smooth patina showing heavy wear. (2) Twig flintlock. Cal. 54 Smoothbore. NSN. 10″ oct Damascus bbl, fixed sights, engraved top tang, iron guides and furniture with acorn finial, gooseneck hammer with maker marked lock. One piece half stock with horn forend tip and flared butt. CONDITION: Good. Silver/brown patina with light pitting on all the metal. Wood is sound with a mottled blackish/brown finish.
