COLT MEDIUM FRAME LIGHTNING BABY CARBINE. Cal. 38WCF. Standard baby carbine with 20″ round bbl, full magazine, checkered forearm, straight stock with carbine smooth steel buttplate. Bbl has square base front sight and reverse mounted carbine ladder rear sight. It has a staple and saddle ring on left side of receiver. SN 42286. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Bbl and magazine tube retain about 90% original blue, dull on the bbl. Receiver retains 92-94% thinning bright blue. Wood is sound and retains most of its original oil finish with usual nicks and scratches. Missing a small chip at the receiver. Bright shiny bore. 4-46509 JR125 (3,000-5,000)
