COLT MODEL 1862 POLICE REVOLVER. SN 17740, matching except for wedge which has been renumbered. Cal. .36, 5-1/2″ round bbl. CONDITION: 50% slightly fading case hardening colors on frame, hammer and loading lever. Traces of blue on bbl and cylinder, mostly in the flutes, scant traces of silver on backstrap and trigger guard. All iron surfaces with surface rust and dried oil. Grips retain most of the varnish with wear along the bottom and small dents elsewhere. Mechanically fine with good pins on the rear of the cylinder. 4-46455 FS82 (1,000-2,000)
