WINCHESTER MODEL 1887 LEVER ACTION SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Standard grade shotgun with 30″ plain bbl. Uncheckered wood, semi-pistol grip stock and checkered steel buttplate. Receiver is case colored and wood is moderately figured. SN 4467. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and magazine tube retain 92-93% strong original blue. Receiver about 90% case colors, brilliant on the left side, slightly darker on the right. Top tang and lever are mostly gray with traces of brilliant case colors in sheltered areas. Wood is sound and retains about 95% strong bright original varnish with a gouge on the left side of the forearm. Good bore with moderate pitting. 4-46796 JR1 (2,500-4,000)
