IVORY INLAID EBONIZED TWO PART LADIES SECRETARY. Two part fall front desk with detailed inlay throughout of cherubs, griffins, etc with spindle gallery top. Interior of top has eight drawers, each drawer front inlaid, a center door with detailed carved inlay of gentleman with cane. Front panel of fall front door has exquisitely carved inlaid scene of two gentleman with instruments, and a lady having a picnic. Top section has 1-dr under fall front lid. Bottom section consists of 1-dr over four turned reeded legs with a pin striped ivory border inlaid shelf. SIZE: 60″ h x 27″ w x 17″ d. CONDITION: Generally good. Some cracking and splitting of inlay and one or two pieces of molding and inlay missing. 8-87117 (4,000-5,000)
