*PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 220 Swift. Standard grade rifle with 26″ tapered round stainless steel bbl, ramp front sight with hood with target blocks in the rear dovetail and on the receiver ring. The rear bridge is untapped. Wood is nicely figured with large coverage checkered forearm and grip and checkered steel buttplate. SN 15404. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. The bbl and receiver retain about 98% original finish. Bolt knob is slightly thin. The floorplate and trigger guard are a silver-gray, wood is sound and retains about 90% original varnish with small light handling and use marks with numerous small scratches on the forearm.
